Following the success and acclaim of his previous tours, A Big Dream of Life and For Everyone Who Knows My Name, rock icon Zhao Chuan returns in 2026 with a brand-new concert tour, When We Were Young. Regarded as a “prequel” to his musical journey, this tour brings together classic hits and new works, leading audiences to revisit youth, memories, and the different stages of life. The Macau show will take place on 1 August 2026 at The Londoner Macao.
With his powerful and unmistakable voice, Zhao Chuan will take audiences through the emotional memories of his life and music career — from his early days in rock bands and campus folk music, to the ups and downs after entering the music industry. Each chapter will be presented through songs that have accompanied generations of listeners.
The concert setlist will include many of Zhao Chuan’s beloved classics, such as A Tiny Bird, At Last, I Have Lost You, I’m Not Good Looking, But I’m Very Gentle, and How Can I Tell you that I Love You, as well as his latest single, Bond Untouched by time. Through these songs, audiences will be invited to look back on their own youth and emotions.

A special highlight of this tour is its key visual, personally designed by Zhao Chuan’s son, who is currently studying animation art. From a new-generation perspective, the visual portrays Zhao Chuan holding a microphone and singing passionately, showcasing his free-spirited stage presence while symbolizing the emotional bond of music across generations.
Throughout his past tours, Zhao Chuan has deeply felt how his music connects audiences of different ages — from parents who grew up with his songs, to younger fans who discover his music through them. His music has long transcended time and generations.
Zhao Chuan shared, “Who knows what the future will be like? As long as I still have the strength, I will keep singing.” This reflects his unwavering passion and dedication to music.
